Dear delegates:

To be once again in a UN model is something that we must be grateful about, because after all we are doing something professional and something we would keep in our memories for all our life.

Since I was a child I always used to ask myself “why problems can´t be solved by talking or debating instead of violence”. It is a clear example of how UN models benefits all of us and its important to learn how they function from an early age, try to imagine what will happen if at my age I still don’t know anything about models or Worldwide problems, I would be asking the same question over and over again and I would be ignorant.

This year I am pleased to be the European Union’s President and we will talk about actual problems in the European Union. The first topic will be about the economical crisis. In which one of the principal countries is Greece, which can´t re-financed its debt and with this it affects all of the European Union.  The second topic is about the food crisis and the lack of food around the world but mainly its consequences in the European Union. It is about how the food products have increased their prices as a result of their disappearance t and because of this in a future there will be lack of them.

This year it is expected to be a different model for all of us, as all of you already should know and we must do our best. We need you to change the perception of this bad comment like, its to much work for nothing!, I want you to see that you don’t need anything to be prized only you need to be proud of yourself and that’s all you need to keep going and be a great person.

Good luck this year, go for it, give all you got and more!!!

Your President,
David Madrigal
